About Tom Mayne

I started my career in the financial services industry in 2012, working as an administrator. This gave me an invaluable understanding of the processes behind managing client expectations. I joined Mattioli Woods in 2014 originally as an account manager handling the day-to-day administration of SIPP and SSAS schemes. As part of my development into consultancy I assisted the Wealth Management Director with the management of his clients.

After achieving the CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, I became a consultant in 2017 and now specialise in bespoke SIPP/SSAS pension arrangements. I am also well experienced to provide holistic wealth management strategies to high-net-worth individuals and SME owners across the UK, ensuring the overall position is tax efficient. 

I have a strong network of professional connections in the Midlands region to assist with wider planning needs for clients. I also sit on the committee of NetworkLE, Leicester’s biggest professional network.

In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit, cooking, travelling and spending time with friends and family. Being a local Leicester lad, I am of course a huge fan of Leicester City and Leicester Tigers, having played rugby for most of my youth.
